Mobile:A Great Invention

On March 10, 1876, in Boston, Massachusetts, Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone.
The very device has come a long way since then, from a bulky and ugly device to todays smart, sleek handhold beauties.

These days we have designer mobile phones in the market.
The first fully automatic mobile phone system, called MTA(Mobile Telephone system A), was developed by Ericsson and commercially released in Sweden in 1956.On April,1973,Motorola employee Dr. Martin Cooper placed a call to rival Joel Engel, head of research at AT&Ts' Bell Labs, while walking the streets of Newyork City talking on the first Motorola Dyna Tec prototype. In the 1990s, 'second generation' (2G) mobile phone systems such as GSM,IS-136 ("TDMA"), iDen and IS-95 ("CDMA") began to be introduced.I first heard of it in 1995-1996.At that time it was quite a costly affair to talk on mobile, due to expensive call rates Rs24/min outgoing and Rs13/min incoming. But all these things have become history now. These days it has become so cheap that a Ricshaw Wallah who escorts your kid to School can afford it,making life easier for you.Your washer man can give you a call before coming to take clothes so that in meantime you can easily sort the things.Communication was never so easy, just imagine connecting @ the touch of a button through Push-to-Talk Service.Todays' mobiles have gone a long way from being a communication device only, nowadays it serves as your I-pod,Digital Camera, a smart card and many more.I own a great indebtedness to mobile.I consider it as greatest revolution of my time.
Though there are some negatives also but they are always there when a thing assumes such a bigger role.Nowadays we have a cellphone for everyone. The mobile had made millions entrepreneurs. It has been a great boon for the lovers,as you cannot talk as freely on your landline which is close to mamma's kitchen or father's room, but on mobile you can do it and i do not need to mention, everyone has its own style.

It may not quite be the invention of the wheel, but if millions in this country were to vote for the one thing that made a palpable difference to the quality of their lives, the cellphone will win hands down!! FOR SURE.

Thanking you cellphone for making our lives better.
