Aye dil hai mushkil jeena yahan
Zara hat ke zara bach ke, yeh hai Bombay meri jaan
I watched Mumbai meri Jaan yesterday night, 8:10 PM show in DT Mega Mall, DLF phase 1, Gurgaon. It was my second at this venue and this time around the audience was civilised. I have been a movie lover but living with Amol in IIT( Amol is my room-mate @ IIT, we share room no D-320, HJB Hall IIT Kharagpur) has really made me almost a movie freak. Amol hails from Maharashtra and thus talks about Mumbai are inevitable. Because of all this discussion with Amol and also Mumbai being the favorite city( in India) of my many friends and girl-friends, i have planned with Amol that Amol, Kedar and I, will certainly live in Mumbai at some point of time, though the sooner the better.
Talking about the movie, its one of the best that we have had in 2008, congrats to Nishikant Kamat( The Director), Sanjay Jadhav( The Cinematographer, he has really taken some awesome shots) and the entire cast, especially Mr. Paresh Rawal who has done a master-stroke. And the way movie ends is also worth praising, very unlikely with the way we are used to see the other happy endings. It has very well portrayed the suffering, the trauma and depression that people face after the blasts, though we all know wat happens when it goes boom.Dear Terrorists, Please think before you carry out this heinous act..Dear Government do not ban firecrackers, let the kids enjoy..let people celebrate on festivals as who knows how many more festivals one will see, as there ia always a danger of a big cracker around and then boom...sad endings..infact bad beginnings.
"Lets make a better India, Lets make a fearless society, Lets fight terror"
