"The Internet Love: Sharing my own practical experiences"

You need not to make her friends your sister anymore to help you get her, now you have an internet to do everything for you, from arranging meetings to sending pics and sending kisses.People from every corner of the globe are dating each other online, falling in love and marrying. Internet is no more used for making assignments only.

This trend has been fired up by the advent of social networking sites, specially Orkut from Google Inc. How can i forget switching my laptop before i switch my fan on as soon as i enter my room after classes. And somehow if i miss this chance, then asking my roommate to tell me scraps' count. This is a sort of addiction.

When i was admitted here, @ the great Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, I could not just imagine that most of my days and nights will be dedicated to internet surfing only it is something which is poles apart to things which i had actually imagined like books, library , assignments and more books and assignments only.But today the reality is that all the primary activities of a student's life have become secondary and all the secondary less important have graduated to be primary ones.

But thanks God i have somehow maintained a CGPA of 9, which spells good academic performance. Though i still sleep with books on my bed but the laptop has also found a place.
As soon as i wake up, the first thing i do is to switch my laptop on without failing. critics say that this internet surfing devoid you of physical activities and social contacts and hampers your thinking and can result in mental depression. A part of this is true, there can be troubles if it is not used judiciously but if you look at other aspects it actually turns you more creative. you think a lot about how to put ur pics in albums and how to configure ur profile so as to attract maximum visitors from the opposite and sometimes from the same sex.It enhances your power of imagination. You keep on thinking about the other person as he/she 'll be like this and that.

It also makes you good at writing, you tend to be more expressive at least verbally. And besides these there are other advantages too. But let me tell you how all does it begin:

Hi ...................(name), can we be frens pls.....if u may approve pls.....Umesh

If you get your fren req approved then second step is a thanks scrap for approving your fren req, this is followed by some more scraps like Wat do u do??...."Do you have a BF/GF??"....then "Do u hv a gtalk id??".....then "Can i see ur pic, just to know u a bit more ......pls dnt min...".......then something which brings charm in the eyes of Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal and Mr. Anil Ambani ...." Can i hv ur num pls".....so on and on.............
